SHIPPING

August Boutique uses Castle Parcels, Post Haste and PBT couriers through Go Sweet Spot.

Shipping costs start from $4.00, with a maximum amount of $7 where it is based on purchasing a number of items, or if the product comes direct from any one of our distributors. For rural deliveries, there is no extra cost, and while often rural deliveries may cost a bit more, this is payable by August Boutique NZ.

We hold the majority of our stock in Auckland, and other stock with distributors based all around New Zealand.

DELIVERY TIMES

We aim to have your package out to you 1-2 working days after you have ordered it.

The majority of the time, deliveries to urban areas can be overnight, or the same day for orders placed before midday, however please allow 3 working days for delivery, as this covers busier times, items out of stock for a day or two and busy times with the courier companies.

Our standard delivery service is signature required. Please make the necessary notes if you wish the courier to leave your parcel in a safe and secure area at your given address.

RURAL DELIVERY

We do not pass on the additional charge that we are charged for delivering to rural delivery addresses.

Please ensure that you do specify in your address if your address is rural delivery. If you don’t tell us you are rural delivery, we do not know to put the correct ticketing on your package and this can lead to a delay.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We do ship to Australia! Credit cards and Paypal accepted. No bank transfer options sorry. $15 flat rate.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

30 day returns.
You’re most welcome to return for exchange or refund up to 30 days from purchase. Returned items must be unused and unworn items, in perfect condition including the packaging.

Shipping is not refundable on returns. Postage both ways will be at the buyers expense.

Sorry we can’t accept change of mind returns where the item has been used.

FAULTY OR DAMAGED ITEMS

Very occasionally a product may develop a manufacturers fault or arrive damaged. We will do everything we can to resolve this situation to your satisfaction, and often give you options to ensure you get the best outcome for you.

We will happily meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act if our products have been wrongly described, develop a fault or are not fit for the purpose described.

Please contact us with details of the fault including a photo if possible. Often this means we can send out your replacement before you return the faulty item, which means the problem is solved faster.

August Boutique reserves the right to obtain a copy of the receipt for proof of purchase.

 

DISTRIBUTOR

There are some brands that we carry, which are direct from the Distributor – please note, the shipping is at a cost of $7, and products are subject to availability. If the product is not available and you order the product, you will be given a full refund, and notice for when the product is back in stock.

SALES AND PROMOTIONS

Please note that sometimes we will have sales – often these products are no longer on backorder, if the product happens to have a back order option, we reserve the right, to remove the back order and refund you the purchase price in full.
